Mr. Burg has thirty years of experience in the nuclear industry as Corporate Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, Consultant, Project Manager, Engineering Group Supervisor, and Project Engineer. Reporting directly to the President of EPM, Mr. Burg is responsible for the EPM QA Program including maintenance of the QA Manual and QA Procedures. Mr. Burg is a certified Lead Auditor and is responsible for the conduct of internal audits. Mr. Burg serves as the company representative to outside parties for all QA matters.
Prior to being appointed QA Manager at EPM, Mr. Burg was Corporate QA Manager for a similar engineering/consulting company. In addition, Mr. Burg managed, participated in, or provided technical oversight on many projects, and is well-versed in the areas of environmental qualification (EQ), fire protection (Appendix R and NFPA 805), Q-list, and other nuclear plant licensing issues. Mr. Burg’s knowledge encompasses a variety of technical disciplines, contracts, proposals, budgets, and scheduling and he is experienced with regulations and regulatory agencies at the federal, state and local levels.
