We offer a comprehensive range of engineering services, including innovative automation tools, configuration management and control software solutions that support the continuing operation and new construction of generation plants for the utility industry. To support its growth strategy, EPM is constantly seeking to extend its offering to new services and market segments.

To support its growth strategy, EPM is seeking a full-time Business Development Director responsible for expanding our market position beyond the current base by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing new business relationships. In this position, you will create and build client relationships while sponsoring interaction to obtain projects. You will be in charge of implementing and managing the business development and sales processes, leveraging and optimizing all available resources and team in the company, managing and expanding our existing pipeline of opportunities and taking the lead on development of proposals, including budget and pricing development, contract negotiations and client presentations. The position will report directly to the company CEO and is a member of our executive team.

Responsibilities and Key Attributes:

·   A strong business development background with proven track record in implementing and operating a sales organization with the capacity to transition and enhance EPM from owner-doer sales model to sales-driven organization.

·   Experience and proven track record in the nuclear industry, ideally in similar market and in mid to large size organizations.

·   A technical background and ability to understand of EPM’s service and software offerings and position in the marketplace.

·   Ability to analyze and develop strategies and solutions to penetrate new markets for diversification of existing services and software both within Nuclear Industry and also to broader energy markets.

·   International sales and marketing experience, particularly entrance of organizations into new countries.

·   Although, locally based at EPM’s main office, this role requires frequent travels nationally and internationally.

·   Assist in formulating standard/routine proposals in conjunction with team members and various functional groups.

·   Locate or propose potential business deals within the existing customer base by contacting potential partners and exploring new opportunities.

·   Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new business lines with company strategies.

·   Close new business opportunities by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.

·   Track and report on the status of all proposal components.

·   Establish and maintain ongoing client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems.

·   Schedule and participate in site visits.

Qualifications:

·   Bachelor Degree in business, science, engineering, or related discipline.

·   Minimum of 15 years in the nuclear energy business development, selling engineering and software services.

·   Ability to effectively communicate information both written and verbal with a technical capacity and understanding.

·   Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills.

·   A strong initiative and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
