Significance Determination Process (SDP)

EPM has extensive experience with assisting our clients in evaluating the risk change due to events and non-compliant conditions. EPM has evaluated risk significance for both internal events and fire using the methods outlined in the NRC’s Reactor Oversight Process Inspection Manual Chapter 0308 Attachment 3 Appendices A for at-power events and Attachment F for fire protection events. In addition, we have performed detailed risk change evaluations using the client’s full PRA models. EPM can also assist clients with the preparation of presentations and reports that will convey the results of these risk significance evaluations to the NRC.
