Mr. Alan Jelalian has over 30 years’ of experience in the nuclear utility industry. As Senior Technical Manager, areas of expertise include plant lifecycle Engineering Programs support for operation and decommissioning, Fire Protection/Safe Shutdown/Electrical Separation Licensing support for Small Modular Reactors/Advanced Reactors and Medical Isotope Facilities, Design Basis Recovery, Process Improvement and Automation, NFPA 805 Transition, Fire PRA Peer Reviews, Appendix R Safe Shutdown Analysis, Manual Action Feasibility Assessment, Fire Protection, Electrical Separation Criteria, Equipment Qualification, Electrical Design Review, Component Classification (Q-List) and Technical training at numerous plants throughout the country. Mr. Jelalian has provided both short- and long-term on-site engineering services including staff and regulator interface to facilitate the daily operations of the plant’s Fire Protection Engineering Program. Mr. Jelalian is a Professional Member, Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), and a member of the American Nuclear Society, Canadian Nuclear Society, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

 

Qualifications : BS, Electrical Engineering, Northeastern University
