
Alexander Andrews, P.E.
Alex Andrews has over 15 years of fire protection engineering experience in both the product development and applications. His experience includes both new and existing building types including nuclear power plants, commercial, and government/military. His code consulting experience includes reviews of drawings review, building and fire code analysis, reviewing engineering evaluations and maximum allowable quantity analysis for lab spaces. He has a working knowledge of many NFPA standards including NFPA 10, 12, 13, 13D, 13R, 14, 15, and 20. Fire protection system design and consulting experience includes code conformance review for NFPA 805 transition projects as well as design of fire alarm and detection systems, preparation of drawings and specifications. He has conducted numerous warrant of fitness tests for smoke control systems of different vintages as well as smoke control systems design and third party commissioning of systems. Mr. Andrews is a licensed fire protection engineer in numerous states and an SFPE, Member Grade.
