
Thomas Jutras, P.E.
Mr. Thomas Jutras, the Vice President of EPM’s Fire Protection Engineering and Risk Services divisions, has been with EPM since 1992. He has served as a project manager for several risk-informed, performance-based fire protection licensing (NFPA 805) projects for the nuclear power industry, and he is familiar with all aspects of PRA and risk-informed initiatives. He has extensive experience in fire protection system design and analysis for a wide variety of clients and building types. Mr. Jutras has a sound understanding of national fire protection codes and standards, and he has developed multiple successful performance-based design solutions to support variances from prescriptive building and fire code requirements. Mr. Jutras is a registered Professional Engineer. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and a principal member of the NFPA 14 Committee on Standpipes, served as a Director of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE – New England Chapter) and served as a President of the New England Association of Fire Protection System Designers.
